Women.
So I had a thought today. It became bigger and bigger with every second I breathed. The thought eventually became a part of me. A feeling I couldn’t let go. But equally important was the question; why? The thought contained the female position in this world. It is about us women walking past men and ignoring that feeling that so many times pop up. And this is only one example of many more. It is that feeling of wanting to hide because we women do not want to put the focus on only their beauty. But on their beauty within. On which I want to raise the question why men often see only the beauty of women. Instead of what goes on inside their minds. Shouldn’t that be the true beauty that everyone should know about? Or is it just me? Yes, this world is full of beauty. And yes, we create a living by beauty. But it bothers me to see that there are so many who ignore the fact that we women are not only our beauty, that we women are not only what they see at first sight, that we women are strong, smart, independent and have swallowed our pride countless times as it continues on everyday. Will there ever come a time in which women are not seen as primarily the object? That women will rise as high as the topmen of all of our countries? That women will become equally as we fight to become so every day? I will not stop. I will not stop until I see that day rise from the ground. I will fight until that day has knocked on my door. This is my importance. This is my thought. And this I treasure with my entire soul.
